The Teacher eligibility test of Karnataka is conducted for finding eligibility of candidates for teaching posts. The process of getting online applications was completed in August 2015. Candidates can check the result for KarTET exam from the official website via direct link given below as soon as they got declared.

All questions in Karnataka Teacher eligibility test were objective type as in most of these tests. There were a total of 150 multiple choice questions that were asked in the question paper. Each one carry one mark. There were four alternatives given of which one is to be selected as answer by the candidate.
There were two papers of KARTET. Paper I is for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. There is no negative marking.

KarTET Cut off Marks:
  • For all Categories except SC/ST/PWD: 60% (90 Marks)
  • For SC / ST / OBC / PH categories: 55% (83 Marks)

Karnataka TET Paper 1, 2 result exam

After the release of official results, candidates will be asked to submit objections regarding result. If any candidate finds any Answer wrong in official Merit list, you can raise your objection to that.

Kar TET Exam was held in two sessions and on two days.
  • Paper 1 - 27/09/2015 (Sunday) - 09.30 AM TO 12.00 PM
  • Paper 2 - 27/09/2015 - 02-00 PM to 04-30 PM
KARTET shall apply to schools of the Karnataka Government. Schools owned and managed by the State Government / local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government.
The Validity Period of KARTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.
