Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct this National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of University Grant Commission. The test will be organized at various centres all over the country. The test is conducted for finding eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor posts. Many number of candidates of various courses had applied for this examination. On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education announces holding of the National Eligibility Test(NET) on 27th December, 2015 (SUNDAY) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges. CBSE will conduct NET in 83 subjects at 88 selected Cities of Examination spread across the country.

Admit card release date: CBSE board had released NET 2015 admit cards on 04 December 2015. CBSE now started conducting National Eligibility Test on behalf of UGC. If you qualify this examination you will become eligible for assistant professor posts in college / institutes.

The award of JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR Eligibility for Assistant Professor only will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for Assistant Professor will not be considered for award of JRF.
No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall/room before 10:45 AM in the 1st session, 12:30 PM in the 2nd session and 4:30 p.m. in the 3rd session.
The Test will consist of three papers. There are no negative marks of incorrect answers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on 27th December, 2015 (SUNDAY) in three separate sessions as under:

Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. 60 (sixty) multiple choice questions of 2 marks each will be given, out of which the candidate would be required to answer any 50 (fifty). In the event of the candidate attempted more than 50 questions, the first 50 questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated.
Paper-II shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
Paper-III will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
All the questions of Paper – II and Paper – III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus (including all electives, without options).
The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I, Paper - II and Paper – III on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.

Candidates will not be allowed to write any question from the Test Booklet on the Admission Card or on any other paper.

How to download CBSE NET December 2015 admit card / marks

To check the admit card of CBSE NET December 2015, candidates have to do as follows.
First, candidates should visit the direct link given above. It will take you to the official website cbsenet.nic.in admit card download page.
After that, enter your application number and date of birth and click on login.
Your CBSE NET admit card 2015 having the details like roll no., exam time etc. will be displayed by the website.
Take a print of it and check all the instructions given on it. You need to brint it at the time of examination.
No admission cards will be sent to the candidates by post. The candidates should download their admission cards from the website to ascertain their venue of the Test as mentioned in the Admission Card and appear in the examination only at the designated examination center. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination center other than that allotted to him/her in the admission card.
