University of Mysore had conducted Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) exam on 06 December 2015. Earlier application were invited from the eligible candidates to appear for Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Lecturer / Assistant Professorship – 2015. The test was successfully conducted on 06th December, 2015. KSET test consists of three papers. All the three papers consists of only Multiple-choice Questions (MCQ). Paper-I consists of General Paper is on Teaching and Aptitude while paper 2 & 3 are subject papers. Those candidates who had appeared can check KSET Exam result 2015 from here.

KSET merit list will be prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks (from all the three papers) obtained amongst the candidates who have qualified written exam.
From the merit list, top 15% candidates (in each subject and in each category) will be declared as KSET qualified for eligibility for Lectureship.

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) Center, University of Mysore, is a Nodal Agency recognized by the UGC, New Delhi for conducting the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for lectureship/Assistant Professor since 2010.
Important dates:
1. Submission of online application commences from : 20th July 2015
2. Last date for submission of online application : 25th August 2015

with late fee of Rs.100/- : 5th September 2015
4. Last date for submission of hard copy of the application : 21st September 2015
form along with copy of the bank challan, category
certificates, to the respective nodal center.

7. Result date - Expected in January 2016.
KSET center, University of Mysore conducts State Eligibility Test once in a year to make rigorous merit based selection for the entry level of teaching profession. Currently KSET is conducting test in 32 subjects at eleven (11) Nodal Centers spread across the Karnataka State.
